Gotta keep this quick…going out soon…with my ex…or should I say…girlfriend.  We’re back together again…but taking it slow.  As for grocery store girl…I let her down easy…she was nice and everything but it looks like I’m off the market for now.  Well, see ya later…

Mr. X never got to be my ex…

So, I got the phone call…not exactly the one I had wanted…but at least Mr. X had the decency to call and let me know he was getting back with his ex.  He’s a pretty good catch so his girlfriend should consider herself lucky.  As for me…life as a single gal is pretty good.  I enjoyed cooking with Mr. X so much that I’ve convinced my friends to start a supper club.  Once a week we’re going to get together, make some recipes (from some of the cool websites I found – see sidebar) and have a gab fest!  It’s nice to have a home cooked meal instead of eating out all the time…and can I mention…a lot cheaper!  For now, I’m just going to enjoy life…I have my friends, my independence and I’m thinking about joining a ski club this winter…and who knows, maybe my adventures in the grocery store aren’t over…
